Jakarta, 2 October 2025 – Oona Insurance Indonesia has partnered with Green SM, a pioneering all-electric ride-hailing service, to offer GreenCare insurance for Green SM passengers. Oona’s insurance is available as an affordable add-on for just Rp1,000.

GreenCare is a joint effort by Green SM and Oona Insurance to transform the ride-hailing and taxi industries by focusing on passenger safety through accessible and reliable personal insurance. In other words, Green SM passengers are protected from the moment they enter the taxi, throughout their trip, until they arrive at their destination.
To use the GreenCare feature, passengers simply tap the “Request Invoice & Add-ons” button after selecting their destination, then choose the “Rp1,000 Insurance” option when booking the ride. The coverage will then be automatically applied to their journey.
“This additional feature offers up to Rp350 million in accident coverage and up to Rp1 million for personal belongings stolen, providing peace of mind and protection from unexpected risks during the trip,” added Vincent.
